Anna Baldwin Exhibition

It’s new exhibition time with Anna Baldwin. Visit her new exhibition in our Foyer from 18th February to 20th March 2026. 10am to 4pm weekdays. Free Entry

This is Anna Baldwin’s first solo exhibition and she is very excited to be showing at the Harwich Art and Heritage Centre again.  She is a selling artist and practitioner.  She grew up in Ipswich and came back to north Essex 15 years ago.

Much of her work is experimental and explores inner workings of her imagination – what she call ‘following the paint around’. She likes colours that zing against each other and layering paint.
She also uses acrylics like watercolour to create brightly coloured abstract work.  She works in a number of media including oils as well as using collage, textiles and recycled materials.
She paints en plein air and in the studio but not using photographs though they may provide inspiration for a work.

Anna is part of the community at Bogdeners Gallery, Harwich and exhibits regularly in Colchester, Ipswich, Woodbridge and Harwich.

She has a vibrant internal world and would describe herself as a maverick.  This includes not engaging with social media.  If you are interested in getting in touch about her work contact the HAHC for details vis contact@harwichfestival.com
