Hire Creative Space
Come on in, there’s plenty of room.
We have a number of great spaces at the Harwich Arts & Heritage Centre that are available for hire at a very reasonable rate. See below for available spaces. Please contact us if you are interested.
We have a full working kitchen, male, female and disabled toilets on the ground floor, and can provide a PA system, projector and secure storage space upon request. We also have use of a large free car park which is monitored by CCTV.
We offer help with marketing for all users of the centre.
The Main Hall
Suitable for various activities for 2 – 150 people. The Hall has a small stage, a supply of tables & chairs and a 4 Track PA System. The wooden floor is suitable for dancing (Ballroom, Ballet etc). The hall is suitable for performances (dance, theatre, music) and has two exits & three emergency fire exits. Available from 9am – 9pm, 7 days a week. *Hall may be unavailable during the daytime in school holidays.
Room 5
A large room suitable for various activities for 2 – 20 people. The room has a supply of tables & chairs, 16 power points & can facilitate a projector. Room 5 is situated on the 1st floor and has no disabled access. Available from 9am – 9pm, 7 days a week.
The Gallery at Room 6
Our current Exhibition Room. Suitable for Art Exhibitions of all genres. Submissions to exhibit are welcome.
Creative Space in Room 7
Open plan space that is suitable as artists studio and can be used as a workshop for most artistic disciplines. Room 7 is situated on the first floor & has no disabled access. Available from 9am – 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. Out of hours access optional.
The Meeting Room
Suitable for meetings for 2 – 8 people. The room has a supply of tables and chairs, 8 power points and a white board. The meeting room is situated on the ground floor. Available from 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday. Out of hours access optional.
