The Illuminate Festival returns on Friday 25th March 2022 with a jam packed night of free entertainment. The Harwich Festival has been working hard behind the scenes to bring together a ‘Sea-Creatures’ themed Lantern Parade which will set off from Harwich Quay at 7pm. The event itself starts at 6pm.

Hello, thank you for a really great night. My kids absolutely loved it.
We drove up from Colchester and have been recommending it to everyone.
I did look at staying in a hotel for the night, thinking I could do the ferry to Felixstowe on the Saturday but according to their website that didn’t start for another week. So close, yet so far. So drove home instead. Maybe next year have a chat with each other! All the same, what an amazing success, from the entertainment to the friendliness of the staff at the festival, and the staff and locals at The New Bell pub.
