The Surrogate is a multidisciplinary installation exploring trauma and transformation through symbolic mediation. The work considers how objects and constructed figures can function as surrogates for the body, allowing repressed unconscious experiences to be externalised and encountered in symbolic form.

Grounded in the analytical psychology of Carl Jung, the installation reflects on how symbolic processes can mediate inner experience and support psychological integration.

Exhibiting alongside Jamie Limond in The Gallery at Room 6 and The Hall.
