Living in Tendring

Award winning playwright & associate artist at the Mercury Theatre, Colchester, Nicola Werenowska (www.nicolawerenowska.co.uk) will be in residence at HAHC as part of her research for a new theatre project, supported by Arts Council England, Colchester Arts Centre and Harwich Arts & Heritage Centre, which draws on the lives of Tendring residents.

• EXPERIENCES OF LIVING IN TENDRING

Nicola hopes to talk to Tendring residents about their experiences of living here which will inform her new play. So do drop in and have a cuppa with her to chat about life in Harwich/Tendring or email (see below) to arrange a fixed time slot.

• INDIVIDUAL PLAYWRITING SURGERIES

Nicola will also be offering half hour one to one playwriting/creative writing surgeries for writers of all levels. She can support with: industry advice, sharing her experiences of 20 plus years working as a professional playwright in East Anglia, and with creative support such as commenting on script excerpts/synopses/ideas.
