Have guitars, will travel – in this case, up to ten of them!
Pete Oxley and Nic Meier bring their Guitar Project back to Harwich for a special date at the Harwich Arts and Heritage Centre. Their live performances exhibit a spontaneity and intuitive interplay that keeps them fresh and fired up from gig to gig. Their music ranges from Turkish panache to Latin American soundscapes to English pastoralism, encompassing jazz and a touch of hard rock. Pete Oxley has accompanied many of the top names on the British jazz scene like John Etheridge, Christian Garrick, Dave O’Higgins and Gilad Atzmon, while Nic Meier’s CV includes three years with British guitar legend Jeff Beck and his recent CD Infinity was recorded with American jazz giants Jimmy Haslip (Yellowjackets) and Vinnie Colaiuta (Sting, Frank Zappa, John McLoughlin, Chick Corea).
The show will take place on Thursday 21st April. Doors at 7pm.
