The Harwich Festival is a registered charity and relies on the kindness of the general public to continue its work in the community. There are many ways to contribute to the Festival without costing a penny, you can also of course make a donation or become a Friend of the Festival.

Become A Friend to the Festival
The Beatles said it best when they sang ‘I get by with a little help from my friends’.
Each year the cost of producing and presenting the Harwich Festival increases with additional funds needed to ensure that the existing high standards are maintained and the festival is able to attract new and exciting performers.
If you wish to support the festival into the future, we invite you to become a friend of the festival.
Friends will be acknowledged in the festival brochure and you will receive priority booking at at least 5% discounted rate. You will receive our regular newsletter keeping you in touch with festival events and an invitation to our friends receptions as well as exclusive access to Art Exhibitions before they open to the General Public.
Applications to become a friend are welcome from individuals or 2 partners living at the same address, for 1 year or 3 years. You can become an annual friend for 1 year for the cost of £40 or 3 years at a cost of £100. For joint annual friend applications the cost is £65 annually or £165 for 3 years.
In the case of donations from joint friends that are gift aided, the donation will be taken as being given by the friend making the payment.

Become a Volunteer
We like to think of ourselves as a fun bunch at the Festival!
Why not join us this year as a volunteer? You can volunteer as little or as often as you would like and will be able to attend most of the festival shows for free, have access to our exhibitions before the general public & i’m sure we’ll throw in some free Teas & Coffee’s every now and then to keep you sweet.
