‘The Scriptwriters’ Showcase

The Harwich Festival are pitching their exciting, new initiative: ‘The Scriptwriters’ Showcase’. Created for aspiring screenwriters and playwrights, from the Harwich and Tendring Area. The Scriptwriters’ Showcase is a programme of coursework-based workshops designed to equip and enable aspiring writers – at any stage of their writing journey – to write coherent, comprehensive and well-structured scenes.

Delivered by local screenwriter Paddy Francis and actor/director Chris Anderson, the writers’ workshops will lead onto a showcase event, including table/rehearsed readings of the scenes completed on the course, performed by a cast of actors. Guest speakers and industry practitioners are being actively invited to collaborate with us on this new initiative.
