Guy Carnival Marshals Wanted!

Volunteer marshals needed – Harwich Guy Carnival 2026

Harwich Guy Carnival returns on Saturday 31 October 2026, and we need volunteer marshals to help make it a safe and enjoyable evening for everyone.

Marshals play a vital role in keeping the carnival running smoothly. You could help participants get into position before the procession, support spectators or help manage junctions along the route from Dovercourt to Old Harwich.

We’re looking for friendly, reliable people who communicate clearly and enjoy working as part of a team. A briefing, clear instructions and a hi-vis vest will be provided.

Help is needed from late afternoon into the evening. Whether you can offer a couple of hours or stay longer, we’d love to hear from you.

To volunteer or find out more, email contact@harwichfestival.com with your name, contact number and availability.

Join the team and help keep this much-loved Harwich tradition going!
